Course Description:

Supporting Student Success Through Teacher Collaboration: A Student-Focused Approach

This asynchronous course was designed for any individual who wants to learn more about the impact instructional coaching can have on maximizing every educator’s skills and knowledge to enhance student learning. This includes (but is not limited to) a teacher leader; grade level chairperson; aspiring leader; instructional specialist; instructional coach; or any individual who collaborates with colleagues to bring research- and evidence-based instructional methods, strategies, and skills into the classroom. This course can benefit district- or school-level supervisors who want to increase their knowledge of instructional coaching, including coaching skills that can elevate their abilities to lead others. For those interested, completing this course can be a first step in becoming certified to provide contractual services using Student-Focused Coaching (SFC) approved materials.

Course Length and Delivery: Approximately 15 hours asynchronous
