Leading the Way: Dyslexia, Data, Interventions, and IEP’s for Administrators
In this course, we will discuss what dyslexia is and isn’t. We will take a look at structured literacy and the type of instruction and time needed for students with reading issues. Data is an important factor to consider, and we will look at a data set together and discuss the implications. A variety of interventions will be discussed, and the amount of time needed to close the gap. Finally, we will look at being the LEA on the IEP and how to recognize effective, measurable IEP goals.
