Structured Literacy for All

Structured Literacy for All moves beyond the theory of the science of reading and focuses on the implementation of evidence-based literacy practices. Teachers learn how to administer and analyze a decoding diagnostic assessment, use assessment data to plan a complete structured literacy lesson, and how to implement high-impact literacy routines to address student needs. The course covers the topics of phonemic awareness, explicit decoding and encoding instruction, routines for teaching irregular words, and routines for practicing with connected texts.
