What We Do

Credentials Unlimited’s mission is to provide cost effective micro-credentials for teachers and administrators that are focused on the Science of Reading and Structured Literacy.  The micro-credentials are aligned to the Knowledge and Practice Standards for Teachers of Reading of The International Dyslexia Association.  Earning a micro-credential assures that teachers have demonstrated a high level of competency in discrete educational skills. 

Why is a Micro-credential Important to Have?

In the world of education and seeking advanced degrees, we may find ourselves locked in a program that may or may not provide us the information we were seeking to improve our skills and knowledge.  We may spend lots of time and money and still not feel like we received the training to improve our practices.  Micro-credentials are an alternative to advanced degrees and provide us with a way to take professional development of our choice that can be compiled into stackable blocks of knowledge in a particular topic.  Micro-credentials also demonstrate your continuing education and growth and are ways to demonstrate your dedication and desire for improving your practice and knowledge.
